It strikes me that some people are rather missing the point here. The main question is what the women who are going to play under this guy think. I don’t know the answer, but if I was the FA I’d start off by asking them.

I would suggest a VitD supplement if you don’t already take one. If you do, perhaps it’s time to ask your GP for a test to check that you are getting an adequate amount of VitD

…revealed the 130 hostesses were told to wear skimpy black outfits with matching underwear and high heels, and made to sign a non-disclosure agreement before starting work.

Which would make you think it’s the kind of event you want to run a mile from… these are hardly subtle warning signs. If they couldn’t get anyone to work the event, that might have been a hint that they seriously need to change the format. It won’t be such a problem in the future though.

It is impossible to condone their behavior but it’s interesting what is currently considered ok. Men are currently being held to account in every avenue at present, but what about the opposite… posh men’s charity dinner versus working class womens hen weekend where the young male waiter gets terrorised at their less formal evening meal. There needs to be some parity.

If folk think these men were bad, they should try crossing paths in a factory with a predominantly women only assembly line etc..

People say elf and safety when they are lazy and don’t want to take on a task.

Actually big vans and even 3 ton box trucks are easier to park than cars because they have good mirrors and you can gauge your distance between the box corner and an object accurately. As long as you understand how the front of a vehicle moves when you steer, reversing vans and small trucks is easy. I used to have to reverse a 3 tonner into a warehouse then make an immediate turn down the side of the building and I can understand how artic drivers can reverse with such accuracy.

Sorry to burst your bubble ;(
