At the time it was really painful but quickly wore off.. woke up this morning with really bad ball of foot pain. I can just about bare weight on my foot but it is making walking pretty hard and im walking like a penguin at the moment.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Use within farming in southern Europe is off the scale and completely ignored in farm legislation by the eu. The chemical and medical sector are the biggest eu lobbyists though. </p>
<p>Apart from the fact there is a knock effect to us medically in future resistance, I wouldn&#8217;t eat the meat from most European countries.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On a related note, I had a work colleague with an infection try to fulfil his (USA issued) prescription in Holland&#8230; the Dutch doctor politely explained that the surgical grade antibiotic perscribed was equivalent to a bazooka to kill a butterfly and adjusted the prescription. </p>
<p>ABs do seem highly overprescribed in some countries.</p>

Sadly this would have meant the end of soccer for me, so I refused his kind offer, despite dire warnings that I would one day crawl back to him and beg him to do the operation with the pain.</p>
<p>No, in fact it got better over time just fine.</p>

Rolling a small frozen water bottle on your foot gives relief.<br />
I had insoles made with helped loads when it was awful and I also have various over the counter insoles. I use a elastic sort of half sock the supports the instep which I use sometimes.<br />
Physio helps as does lasering the area.<br />

My OH had reactive arthritis in his knee years ago, he was on high dose ibuprofen and occasionally injections to draw fluid off the knee.
